David Olearcek floated ashore over 20 years ago and hasn’t left Cape Cod since (at least not for long). He has written arts and entertainment news for Provincetown’s oldest newspaper, the former Provincetown Advocate, and reported goings-on for its newest, The Provincetown Banner. He wrote and published Cape Cod Dining Style, a review of the Cape‘s distinguishing dining experiences, and launched The Cape Cod Seafood Journal, a grant-funded publication promoting the fisheries and the creative cuisine of Cape Cod‘s dining venues. He has contributed to regional media such as The Cape Cod Travel Guide and Cape Cod Life. David lives in Chatham, but can often be found exploring the dunes of the Cape Cod National Seashore or breaking bread in Commercial Street eateries in Provincetown.
