Planet Jackson Hole, a news organization local to Jackson Hole, Wyoming, recently featured an article about various area newsworthy notes and events. In the article, writer Jake Nichols mentions Nina Lary and her Jackson Hole travel guide. In the article, Nichols makes reference to Lary's interview in Portland, Oregon's The Bee Newspaper.

Erick Mertz, from Portland, Oregon's The Bee Newspaper, interviewed Nina Lary, author of Jackson Hole: A Comprehensive Guide to Jackson and the Grand Tetons. In the interview, Lary describes her process for writing the book. According to the article, her research includes "doing everything from paragliding to whitewater rafting to sampling the local restaurant fare." The article also discusses Lary's Portland-area book release party, held this past September.

In a review of Key West: A Comprehensive Guide to Florida's Southernmost City, The She is Too Fond of Books blog calls Goodwin-Nguyen's style "personal" and "conversational", while offering "no-holds-barred commentary." The reviewer calls the guide "a comprehensive tool for planning your trip, and a good book to keep with you."

Books and Cooks blogger Tara recommends Wisconsin Dells: A Comprehensive Guide to Waterparks, Resorts, Tours and More "to those visiting the Dells." In her review, she points out that the book "offers a great history of the Wisconsin Dells area" and "extensive reviews of everything from accommodations to attractions and even a few photos."
